Frequently Asked Questions About Adult Safety Courses
Can I do a 2-day Standard First Aid + CPR/AED course online?
You can do one of the 2 days of training online, however the 2nd day must be done in-class. The Canadian Red Cross Blended Learning Standard First Aid is a combination of in-class face-to-face instruction with online instruction. Typically, theory and information are conveyed to the participants outside of the classroom through an online component. This allows for the in-class component to concentrate on skill development and the application of theory. Our course is self-paced and the online session is completed first, followed by an in-class skills session. Blended learning also offers a more personalized way to learn First Aid. The online component is self-paced and participants can focus on areas where they feel they need more time.
